Meet the judges: Tina Norden

WIN is one of the more established and recognised industry awards with a very wide range of entries from all over the world.

Taj The Trees is a beautiful new hotel in Mumbai and was a great collaboration with the client Godrej’s design team and a new contemporary facet of the revered Taj brand.

What sort of scheme would you most like to see among the entries?

I also really enjoy the exchange with the other judges, it is great to hear other points of view that may influence the way you see things.

Tell us about some recent projects you’re proud of:

Park Hyatt Jakarta was a labour of love that took eight years to complete.

Why should people enter the WIN awards? What are the benefits in your view?

Considered, interesting work from up-and-coming practices and surprising, innovative projects from more familiar names.

What are you looking out for in a WIN award contender?

What attracted you to becoming a judge for the WIN awards?

Peninsula Boutique was a partnership with the client to develop a new identity for their café and boutique brand to roll out worldwide.

I’m looking for design that stands out from the crowd, is considered, innovative and sustainable.

The variety and international nature of the projects makes it super exciting to review and evaluate the projects – and very hard!

Awards are always an excellent way to showcase your work and compare with the industry at large. And winning a prestigious award like the WIN Awards will bring not just recognition but also valuable exposure.
